Contemporary Abstract Art, Imagination and Inner Experience

My relationship with art began at an early age, but painting became a serious pursuit during my high school years. After a decade away from painting, I returned to it with renewed purpose, dedicating several years to intensive study and the development of my technique and artistic language.

As a self-taught artist, I have continued to expand my practice through constant experimentation, observation and study. My work draws on both contemporary approaches to painting and the enduring principles found in the works of the old masters, while remaining guided by intuition and personal experience.

Painting, for me, is a way of exploring the space between the visible and the intangible. I am interested not only in form, colour and composition, but in what lies beneath them: memory, emotion, imagination and the inner experiences that are often difficult to express through words.

My work moves between abstraction and suggestion. Rather than describing the world literally, I allow forms, textures and colours to evolve through the painting process, creating images that can remain open to individual interpretation. I am particularly interested in the point at which recognizable forms begin to dissolve and a painting develops its own visual reality.

At the heart of my practice is a search for balance between form and inner expression. Each painting is part of an ongoing exploration rather than a final statement, shaped by curiosity, intuition and the continuous discovery of new possibilities within the medium.

I want my paintings to offer viewers a space in which they can slow down, look beyond the immediately recognizable and discover their own associations, emotions and meanings.
